This study aims to assess the role of digital transformation in enhancing operational efficiency within service-based organizations in Bangladesh; in an era where digital technologies are rapidly reshaping business processes, understanding the specific factors driving operational improvements is essential for organizations to remain competitive, identifying five key factors influencing operational efficiency: Digital Technology Adoption, Employee Digital Skills, Leadership Support for Digital Transformation, Customer-Centric Digital Strategies, and Digital Infrastructure Availability, utilizing a survey-based approach with data from 218 respondents, revealing digital infrastructure availability as crucial for operational efficiency with a significant positive correlation, while Digital Technology Adoption and Employee Digital Skills showed moderate impacts, Leadership Support and Customer-Centric Strategies had indirect effects, emphasizing the need for robust digital infrastructure, continuous skill development, and strong leadership to ensure successful digital transformation, offering valuable insights for managers and policymakers in Bangladesh and directions for future research.
